PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawer of furniture which can enlarge the storing space of a drawer to the utmost and keep moisture control capability and deodorizing capability over a long period of time. SOLUTION: A charcoal package 4 is stored in a charcoal storing part 2 formed by a hollow part obtained by partially cutting a core material 12c stacked on facing materials 12a, 12b of a paulownia plate of a drawer 1, and the charcoal storing part 2 and the interior of the drawer 1 are communicated with each other by ventilating holes 3, whereby moisture control and deodorization for the interior of the drawer 1 can be kept over a long period of time in cooperation with sealing ability and air-tightness of the paulownia plate without reducing the storing space of the drawer 1.
