PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing and dressing stand which enables a user to look at his/her face in a mirror in his/her sitting attitude and enables the user to do works in the position of a washbowl in a bright environment. SOLUTION: An illuminating device L for illuminating a counter part 3 is incorporated into a lower part of a storing rack 6, and a panel-like mirror M is provided between the counter part 3 and the illuminating part L. The panel-like mirror M is formed to be movable by supporting the upper edge part on a hinge 12 to swing. The lower end part (m) is moved forward and backward to control the inclination of the surface, whereby a user P sitting on a wheelchair is enabled to look at his/her face in the mirror. Since there is provided the illuminating device L for applying light to the counter part 3, work at the position of a washbowl 4 can be done in a bright environment. Furthermore, light can be reflected on the counter part 3 by the movable mirror M so as to set the light irradiating position in the optimum range.
