PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a space between the upper surface of a rack and a ceiling as a storing space in a brace fixing type storing rack, to simplify a bracing mechanism, and to fix a rack body with larger bracing force while facilitating putting in and out stored goods to the upper surface of the rack. SOLUTION: A rack body 1 is formed by supports 2 erected in four corners of a rack, a lateral frame 3 fixed between the upper and lower ends of each support 2 and a side frame 4. A vertically slidable elevating frame 25 is provided on the upper part of the rear support 2. The elevating frame 25 is roughly adjusted in its projection amount by varying the position of engagement with a stopper 27 supported on the upper end of the support 2. The upper end of the elevating frame 25 is provided with a pressing mechanism having a screw shaft 36 and a pressing body 37. The pressing body 37 is pressed to a ceiling by the screw shaft 36 to brace and fix the whole of the rack. Stored goods are stored in a space in front of the elevating frame 25.
