PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary apparatus for washing so as to prevent shrinkage, deformation, and nap of washing effectively. SOLUTION: A net type bag body 5 is constructed of a circular upper face part 2, a circular bottom face part 3, and a cylindrical side face part 4, and two floats 6 are arranged in the circular upper face part 2. Three height adjusting apparatus 10 are provided in the cylindrical side face part 4. After washing such as a sweater is put inside the bag body 5, the height of the bag body 5 is shrunk by the height adjuster 10, and the washing is brought into contact with the bag body 5 so as to be fixed. When the auxiliary apparatus for washing is put in a washing tube for washing, the auxiliary apparatus 1 is held on the surface of the washing water by means of the floats 6, and excessive motion and contact with a pulsator in the washing tube can be prevented. In addition, as the washing is fixed in the bag body 5, a part of washing is prevented from rubbing or entangling with other parts in the bag body 5, so that shrinkage, deformation, and nap of the washing can be prevented.
