PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shoes free from troubles in wearing/taking off, and stable in wearing quality. SOLUTION: Shoes for elderly persons have a tightening opening/closing part by a shoe string, and a tightening opening/closing part by a pair of slide fasteners provided therealong. String holes are opened in each forward part of right and left vamps, notches with spaces of MP point are provided in a forward end inward of the string holes, a slide fastener is fitted to the each notch. String holes are opened along the notches in the vamp to cover an instep. Notches with their spaces of MP points are provided at a forward end inward of the string holes in the right and left vamps to cover both sides of a foot, and a slide fastener is fitted to each notch. A dust-proof member having a bellows space on both sides is provided from an inner surface of a shoe bottom side of the vamp along one notch to the inner surface of the shoe bottom side of the vamp along the other notches.
