PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based coating capable of forming a coated film excellent in corrosion resistance on an aluminum-plated steel plate even if an anticorrosive agent containing a harmful heavy metal is not used. SOLUTION: This coating contains (D) 5-50 pts.wt. anticorrosive pigment selected from calcium ion-substituted amorphous silica fine particles and a magnesium compound-modified phosphate-based anticorrosive pigment, and (E) 0-10 pts.wt. triazole compound based on 100 pts.wt. total amount of film- forming resin components comprising (A) 50-100 pts.wt. at least one aqueous resin selected from an aqueous alkyd resin and an aqueous epoxy resin, (B) 0-50 pts.wt. aqueous acrylic resin and (c) 5-40 pts.wt. hardening agent, and provides the coated film having 500-1,500 molecular weight between the cross links. The coated material has an aluminum-plated steel plate having the coated film made from the composition, as a substrate.
