PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling workability of an auxiliary brake mechanism for stopping a machine body at the time of planting a seed and so on. SOLUTION: In a rice transplanting machine equipped with an auxiliary brake mechanism 48 for stopping a machine body, and operating interlocking with a clutch mechanism 109 provided on a power transmitting path to a travel part 6 from a motor part 7; the mechanism 48 arranges a brake pulley 49 in a drive shaft 99 for transmitting the power of the motor part 7 to the travel part 6, and a brake actuating body 60 disconnectively on the outer peripheral surface of the pulley 49, while providing a scraper 67, for removing muddy earth adhering to the outer peripheral surface of the pulley 49, on the outer peripheral surface of the pulley 49, and moreover supporting a brake actuation body 60 and the scraper 67 by the same base member 52.
