PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ribbon cassette which can deal even with an increase in the kind of ink ribbon or the number of customers, by using two seals with markers formed. SOLUTION: A first seal 13 having first markers 13a formed and a second seal 14 having second markers 14a formed are stuck respectively on the outer surface of one lateral wall 12d opposite to the other lateral wall 12a wherein recess 12b is formed. The first markers 13a show the kind of an ink ribbon 11, while the second markers 14a show a customer.
