PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for compression molding having no fear of generating operation disorder of an air valve caused by the penetration of resin in a gap generated between the leading end of the air valve and a jet orifice provided at the leading end of an air flow channel. SOLUTION: In a mold for compression molding wherein a cavity 11 is formed between a male mold and a female mold 1 and an air valve device 2 for mold release wherein a bush 21 is provided at the periphery of an air valve 23 for mold release is provided at the female mold, the bush 21 is constituted of a leading end part 211 and a base end part 212 and the male screw provided at the leading end part 211 is screwed in the female screw provided at the base end part 212 to connect the leading end part 211 and the base end part 212.
