PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a protein or partial peptide thereof which can be used, for example, as a regenerating agent after the removal of a sick tissue or a diagnostic agent for cancer, and a reagent for screening a compound which promotes or inhibits the activity of the protein. SOLUTION: This protein (or a salt thereof) has the amino acid sequence shown by sequence 1, or the amino acid sequence shown by sequence 5 which is substantially identical to the former amino acid sequence, and is produced in a tumor cell. |
