PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple disk clutch device of improving assembling workability by smoothly engaging the outer spline tooth of a clutch hub and the spline groove of the inner clutch plate. SOLUTION: In this multiple disk clutch device, inner and outer clutch plates 1 and 2 are arranged alternately by plural, and a spline groove 1b is provided on the inner diameter part of the plate 1 to be movably engaged with the outer spline tooth 3a of a clutch hub 3 in an axial direction. A projection 3c having a round surface abutting on the side surface of the diameter part 1a of the plate 1 is formed on the axial directional end part of the tooth 3a of the hub 3.
