PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem with a conventional fall-preventive safety horizontal net for use in the erection of steel that mounting tools therefor are dangerous and difficult to remove since the net is mounted in a high position. SOLUTION: In this device for removing the mounting tools of a safety horizontal net for steel work, a head gripping part having an opening which engages the head of a clamping bolt for fixing the mounting tools of the safety horizontal net is provided at the upper end of a vertically extending operating rod via a ratchet wrench for loosening bolts and screws, and a capturing basket for the mounting tools of the safety horizontal net is mounted on top of the operating rod.
