PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scaffold for a steel column that can be easily installed on an H-shaped steel column of a construction frame pile or the like. SOLUTION: This scaffold for a steel column includes scaffold frames 5, 5 on which scaffold plates 6, 6 rest, an approximately horizontal scaffold support arm 2 having a scaffold frame supporting part 3 at its front end and fixed to H-shaped steel 1 at its rear end, and a brace 4 fixed to the H-shaped steel 1 at its lower end and supporting the scaffold frame supporting part 3 at its upper end, and is installed around the H-shaped steel 1. The scaffold support arm 2 has a fitting part 8 at its rear end, and a pawl part 7 which is in the form of L on side view to enable the fitting part 8 to fit thereover is secured to the H-shaped steel 1. The brace 4 has at its lower end bolting parts 12 in which the flanges 4 of the H-shaped steel 1 are clamped and connected, and the scaffold frame supporting part 3 is in the form of a pipe into which the scaffold frame 5 can be inserted.
