PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restraining method of the development of dross in a hot-dipping bath, with which the stuck amount of the dross on a steel sheet can be reduced, and a continuous hot-dip metal coating equipment, when a hot-dip metal coated steel sheet and a hot-dip coated alloying steel sheet are produced. SOLUTION: In the restraining method of the development of dross in the hot-dipping bath in the continuous hot-dip metal coating, with which the steel sheet is continuously dipped into the hot-dipping bath stored with the molten metal and after turning around a sink roll in the hot-dipping bath, this steel sheet is changed to this direction and pulled upward from the hot-dipping bath to continuously apply the metal-coating, the bath temperatures at the different positions in the hot-dipping bath, are measured during continuously metal-coating and/or during stopping the continuous metal-coating. Further this method in the continuous hot-dip metal coating equipment is executed by desirably using one or more kinds selected from a hot-dipping bath stirring device, a heating device at the bottom part of a pot for hot-dip metal coating and a heating device at the side wall of the pot for hot-dip metal coating to reduce the temperature difference in the bath based on the obtained measured results.
