PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bisazo compound having yellow to brown color and reactivity for cellulose fibers. SOLUTION: This compound is a bisazo compound represented by formula (I) A is a sulfonic group-including phenyl or naphthyl; D is a group of formula (2) (* mark is a bond bonding to A-N=N; ** mark is a bond bonding to N=N-E; R3 and R4 are each H, an alkyl or the like) ; E is a group of formula (3) [*** mark is a bond bonding to an azo group and **** mark is a bond bonding to N-(R1)]; B is a (substituted) alkylene; Y is CH=CH2 or the like; X is a (substituted) amino; R1 and R2 are each H or the like) or its salt.
