PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a colored glasses such as green colored glass or dark gray colored glass which can not be used for a light transmission medium as a single glass plate because of light absorption in a window glass edge light device for automobile applying incident light from a glass end part and illuminating an opposite end. SOLUTION: A laminated glass is used for a window glass of a edge light device for automobile and an intermediate film of the laminated glass is used as a light transmission medium. A colored glass such as green colored glass or dark gray colored glass that reduces load of cooler and heater and maintains passenger compartment environment comfortable by absorbing sunshine energy and moderately controlling transmission of visible rays, infrared rays and ultraviolet rays, thereby, can be used in the edge light device for the automobile.
