PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply regulate a printing depth to a surface of a pipe in a short time in a printer for printing by rotatably arranging a printing roller having a printing surface on its outer peripheral surface on a conveying passage of the pipe and bringing the printing surface of the roller into contact with the conveying pipe. SOLUTION: An air cylinder operating by a pressure reducing valve is provided so that an operating shaft is advanced or retracted in a vertical direction. A supporting lever for supporting a printing roller is mounted at the shaft. An air pressure supplied from the valve to the cylinder is suitably set to regulate a height position of the lever. Thus, a pressing pressure of the roller to the pipe is regulated.
