PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sink facilitating the cleaning of the circumference of a faucet fitting and widening the depth of the sink. SOLUTION: In a sink 10 constituted of a counter 11 having a back guard 13 and a sink 12 provided to a counter plane section, the back guard 13 is monolithically raised from the depth side of the bottom of the sink 12 in succession. By the constitution, there is no deck part between the sink 12 and back guard 13, and the depth of the sink 12 can be widened by such a portion. A faucet 15 or the like is directly or indirectly mounted to the upper surface or the front of the back guard 13, and an sufficient space for cleaning the circumference of the faucet can be ensured to facilitate the cleaning.
