PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a card from jumping out of a gate to thereby enable carrying-out of the card through sure engagement of a card carrying-out pawl therewith. SOLUTION: A card carrying-out carriage part 5 of a card carrying-out mechanism 1 which can carry out cards 3 stacked in a hopper one by one is provided so as to be capable of reciprocal motion in the card carrying-out direction by means of a drive source. The carriage part 5 is provided with a card carrying-out pawl 6 capable of engagement with the rear end of card 3. A card stopper 14 is provided to close a gate. The pawl 6 is at least provided with a card stopper moving mechanism 15 to open the gate through movement of the stopper 14 when the tip of the card 3 passes through the gate.
