PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely separate and feed sheets of paper one by one irrespective of the rigidity thereof. SOLUTION: A sheet accomodation part 51 is provided with a sheet loading means 9 to load sheets of paper P and be capable of contacting with or separating from a paper feeding means 2 that feeds sheets of paper P accomodated in the part 51. A separation slant surface 10 is provided downstream of the means 9 in the paper feeding direction. The sheets of paper P loaded on the means 9 are supported with a support part 10b of the surface 10. The sheets of paper P fed by the means 2 are separated one one by a separation part 10a of the surface 10 formed to extend slantly in paper feeding direction from the part 10b, in coorporation with the means 2. The means 9 is adapted to curve the sheets P when the sheets P loaded on means 9 are brought into pressure contact with the means 2 and direct the of sheets P in the paper feeding direction to the part 10a.
