PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a wind noise from an auxiliary visor part and prevent the auxiliary visor part from disturbing a forward visual field and secure effects as a visor by maintaining the visor strong and hard to be deformed in a side visor for an automobile provided with a main visor and a front lowering auxiliary visor part. SOLUTION: In a side visor for an automobile provided with a main visor part 1a and a front lowering auxiliary visor part 1b and composed of mounting ear parts 2a, 2b of each visor part against window flame, and visor plate parts 3a, 3b continuously arranged in conditions of projecting from a side in the lateral direction of those ear parts 2a, 2b in the outside direction, a projection amount in the outside direction of the visor plate part of the auxiliary visor part is maintained smaller than that of the main visor, and a bend part 4 with a ridgeline is formed on the visor plate part of the main visor part, and a visor plate portion b inclining in the opposite direction from the incline direction of a visor plate portion above the ridgeline is formed below the ridgeline of the bend part 4.
