PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic particle type electromagnetic link device for effectively dispersing magnetic particles without cost increase or strength lowering due to adding excessive parts, and preventing the lowering or lock phenomenon of transmitting torque under any use condition. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a first rotating piece 6 joined to a first input/output shaft 1 composed of magnetic material and having an action surface 6a in the inner diameter, a second rotating piece 31 joined to a second input/output shaft 24 composed of magnetic material and having an action surface 31a in the outer diameter, an annular gap 25 formed between the surface 6a and 31a of magnetic particles 26 interposed in the gap 25, and an exciting coil 8 embedded into the piece 6 and magnetizing the particles 26 interposed in the gap 25. Plural projections 32 and 33 and recesses 34 and 35 are arrayed alternately on both side surfaces of the outer diameter part of the second rotating piece 31.
