PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal joint which can easily couple segments together and saves labor required for coupling works. SOLUTION: A rod-like male joint 2 is arranged on a segment 3 on one side, and a female joint 1 is formed in a segment 3 on the other side. The female joint 1 is constituted of an engaging plate 6 and a housing 5. The engaging plate 6 has an insertion hole 11 formed in the center thereof, which hole is smaller in diameter than the male joint 2, and a plurality of notches are radially formed from an opening edge of the insertion hole 11, whereby intervals between the notches function as engaging pieces 13. The housing 5 covers the male joint 2 inserted into the insertion hole 11 of the engaging plate 6. A swaging piece 10 of a swaging portion 8 arranged on the periphery of the engaging plate 6 is swaged, to thereby combine the engaging plate 6 with the housing 5 in one body. The engaging pieces 13 of the engaging plate 6 have been slightly bent beforehand in the insertion direction of the male joint 2.
