PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin tatami mat for floor heating whose heat efficiency is enhanced by bringing its surface into intimate contact with the top surface of a floor heating facility. SOLUTION: Cuts are provided beneath the four sides of flooring comprising a wooden fibrous core with metallic foil bonded thereto, and a tatami face secured to a surface is folded into the cuts.
