PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of overboost without increasing a cost or impairing the responsiveness of supercharging pressure in a supercharging pressure control device. SOLUTION: The increase degree of actual supercharging pressure is reduced by setting target supercharging pressure from the operation condition of an engine 1 by a target supercharging pressure setting means 41, a first correction value based on target and actual supercharging pressure detected by an actual supercharging pressure detecting means 45, by the means 41, and a second correction value in accordance with the actual supercharging pressure and its changing degree by a second correcting means, to control the actual supercharging pressure so as to be the target supercharging pressure based on the first and second set correction values by a supercharging pressure control means 44, to change the reflected degree of the second correction value with the increase of the actual supercharging pressure or its changing degree.
