PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a metallic wire shaped body for a rubber product with aβtitanium alloy as the material, in which the production cost is made reducible. SOLUTION: As to this producing method, the surface of aβtitanium alloy wire coated with copper and subjected to wire drawing is galvanized, is thereafter subjected to brass plating by thermal diffusing treatment and is simultaneously subjected to aging treatment.
