PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creeping discharge type ozonizer capable of installing without taking the time to secure an installing place and without feeling a sense of incompatibility with the surrounding atmosphere and capable of simply controlling the generation of ozone. SOLUTION: A cylindrical metallic electrode 41 and a brush like metallic electrode 42 are provided. The metallic electrode 42 has a structure that many metallic fine wires 422 are radially provided on the outside surface of a rod body 421. An insulating coating film 43 is formed on the inside surface of the metallic electrode 41. The metallic electrode 42 is provided inside the metallic electrode 41 in a state that each of the tip part of the metallic fine wires is in contact with the insulating coating film 43, and as a result, a corner part 40 is formed at the contact part of each metallic fine wire 422 with the insulating coating film 43.
