PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sloped conveyer capable of keeping an article in place even if used on a slope by eliminating idle running of a roller conveyer when braking. SOLUTION: By actuators 32a, 32b, a driving member 28 presses a driving belt 21 toward a roller 10 and synchronize with a plurality of rollers 10 so as to displace it for engagement, braking members 31a, 31b are displaced so as not to engage with the roller 10. For the driving member 28 to open the driving belt 21 and separate from the roller 10 and to have no idle running period of the roller 10, the braking members 31a, 31b are displaced so as to engage with the roller 10.
