<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing body structure capable of making an opening and closing body supported openably on the body, reducing the number of parts and further facilitating assembling. SOLUTION: A latch unit provided on the opening and closing body for selectively engaging a latch member with an engaging hole provided on the body in order to selectively hold the opening and closing body supported openably on the body in a closed state, has a base member movably supporting the latch member between an engaging position and a releasing position, a knob pivotally supported on the base member for the opening and closing operation of the opening and closing body and the engaging state releasing of the latch member and the engaging hole, and engaged selectively on the latch member, a first spring urging the latch member in the engaging direction, and a second spring urging the knob and the latch member in the engaging direction. The base member and the knob comprise resins integrally forming a pivot or a bearing, and the need of the shaft member is eliminated, the number of the parts can be reduced and assembling is facilitated by making a structure of resiliently inserting the pivot and the bearing.</p> |
