PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily groove a concrete surface. SOLUTION: The portions of the concrete 1 desired to be grooved are provided with the fine grooves 5. Heating elements 7 are installed in these fine grooves 5 to heat and embrittle the peripheries of the fine grooves 5. The embrittled portions 8 are disassembled and removed, by which the surface of the concrete 1 is provided with the grooves. The grooves may be dug in the concrete without generating large noise and if the grooves are made increasingly deeper, the cutting and separating of the concrete are made possible and if the concrete is subjected to the cutting and separating to parallel crosses, the concrete may be provided with open holes.
