PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling stone preventive method by pocket type covering net excellent in durability and easy to construct. SOLUTION: A net body A formed by covering the whole square formed by vertical and horizontal ropes 1a, 1b with a wire gauze 2 and connecting the intersection part of the vertical and horizontal ropes 1a, 1b by a connecting metal fitting 3 for retaining it with a fixed nipping force is suspended from a plurality of struts 5 raised in line on a slope through a cushion member 6 for extending the ropes in the application of a fixed tension or more thereto to cover the slope, the end of the horizontal rope 1b of the net body A is also fixed to a proper position of the slope through the cushion member 6, and the lower part of the net body A is turned to the slope side to form a pocket part (b).
