PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cupping method and a cupping device for improving blood circulation and body fluid circulation in the body by moving the friction face of the cupping device in a state that the skin is smeared with vegetable oil and that the smeared part is at negative pressure. SOLUTION: A friction face 113 capable of rubbing the skin is placed in a lower opening 111 of a container 11 used for cupping. Then, the friction face 113 is so placed that the lower opening 111 is applied to the surface of the skin smeared with vegetable oil and that the friction face 113 placed in the container 11 is easily moved on the skin in a state that the container 11 is at negative pressure. The friction face 113 is moved in such a direction that blood flows.
