PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a label from being dropped by a tape push owing to a difference in a feeding stroke depending on positional relationship of the label and a detecting tab. SOLUTION: This label attaching device is provided with a gage panel 28h, a moving body 28j for holding a detecting tab 29 freely movable, a gauge 28i extendedly provided on the moving body 28j, and a stopping member 28k for supporting the body 28j in a slide groove S freely movable and stoppable. The moving body 28j is formed with connecting holes 28j2, 28j2 through connecting legs 28j1, 28j1 downwardly provided on both end sides in the width direction, and is held freely movable on a tab mounting member 28 by a fitting axis 36 going through the holes 28j2, 28j2. By inserting the fitting axis 36 through the support holes 29b, 29b together with the holes 28j2, 28j2 in a condition where the tab 29 is mounted inwardly between the 28j1, 28j1 of the movable body 28j, the tab 29 is pivoted so as to make angle between the tip ends 28b, 28b of the member 28 changeable.
