PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body lifting device capable of greatly reducing physical and mental burdens on a cared person. SOLUTION: This body lifting device is provided with a first string member having a pair of engaging parts for attachably/detachably engaging with the lifting device and for holding the head of a body, a second string member having a pair of engaging parts for attachably/detachably engaging with the lifting device and holding the knees of the body, a sheet member whose both ends are fixed on at least the center of the first string member and at least on the center of the second string member and for holding the body, and a pillow- shaped member freely attachably/detachably fixed at least on the center of the first string member and for allowing the head to contact.
