PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join beams without providing any projection such as an attaching plate and bolts, on the upper flange surface of a beam member. SOLUTION: In the joint part of an upper flange 1a of a beam member 1, each of attaching plates 2 having stud holes 2 is fitted at each side of an approximate longitudinal direction center line of the beam and underneath the under surface of the upper flange 1a so that the plates 2 straddle the beam members 1, 1, and stud bolts 3 are inserted into the stud holes 2a, 2a, etc., stud welding is performed as pressurizing, and the attaching plates 2 are welded to the beam member 1, while the plates 2 are held by the head parts 3a of the stud bolts 3 in the pressed condition to the beam member side 1.
