PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject casset of a compact type which prevents looseness of a film of a bobbin and requiring no mounting and demounting at the time of changing between color paper and normal paper. SOLUTION: This is a film cassette 10 of substantially square body acccomodating a film feeding bobbin 30, a film winding-up bobbin 40 and a heat transfer film 20 wound up around both the bobbins 30, 40, wherein the bobbin 30 and/or the bobbin 40 can be mounted on and separated from the cassette 10, and a notched portion is formed at the outside of a support part 10A of the cassette 10.
