PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic incense tree/stick transversely-cutting device capable of stably and rapidly providing an incense tree/stick product having a prescribed length at any time and smooth cut end surfaces. SOLUTION: This automatic incense tree/stick transversely-cutting device 1 comprises a transferring conveyer belt 2 for transferring plural dry cut incense stick materials A with them placed on an upturned surface 2a in parallel perpendicularly to a transfer direction; plural disk cutters 8 supported by a rotary drive shaft 7 disposed above the surface 2a of the transferring conveyer belt 2 perpendicularly to the transfer direction, disposed in parallel at constant intervals such that blade parts 8a can reach the surface 2a of the transferring conveyer belt 2 to sequentially cut the dry cut incense stick materials A; and press belts 9 of an elastic resin material disposed between the respective adjacent disk cutters 8, facing the surface 2a of the transferring conveyer belt 2 such that the press belts 9 can press the dry cut incense stick materials A, and each disposed such that the downward face 9a turns to a direction corresponding to the transfer direction of the transferring conveyer belt 2.
