PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for adjusting ion concentration of hydroponic solution, capable of using the hydroponic solution for culture without destroying the ion balance of main seven elements in the hydroponic solution for a long period of time in adjustment of ion concentration of the hydroponic solution. SOLUTION: In this apparatus for adjusting ion concentration, when the main seven kinds of ions (NO3-N, P, S, K, Ca, Mg and NH4-N) contained in the hydroponic solution are measured by an ion concentration measurement part 6 and difference between the target value of ion concentration and the measured value is replenished with a chemical, the optimal kind and amount of the chemical to be supplied to the hydroponic solution is calculated by convergent calculation by a computer 9, a chemical pump 11 is controlled based on the calculated result, the chemical is metered and supplied and a hydroponic solution tank 1 is blended by a circulation pump 2 and a stirring pump 3 to provide the objective adjustment apparatus. In the supply of the chemical, the driving order of the pumps is restricted to prevent precipitation in supply. After the adjustment, the ion concentration is remeasured. When the remeasured concentration range is compared with and deviated from a preset allowable concentration, an alarm is started. |
