PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine building structure and a suction duct for compacting the turbine building. SOLUTION: The curved duct 40 of a suction duct 7 is suspended by a suspending support 50 from the crane guirder beam 22 of a ceiling crane 6. A temporary placing mount for dismounting and then temporary placing the lower duct 41 of the duct 7 is provided on the upper part of the working floor of the gas turbine building. The duct 7 is comprised of a bent duct 40 bent downward and a lower duct 41 connected to the lower end of the duct 40, and is a double flow type branched in the flow passage halfway, and is constituted so as to suspend the lower part duct with the suspending tool of the crane 6 enters from the gap of the branched part. Alternatively, the duct 7 is single flow type to provide an opening/closing hole, and the suspending tool of the crane 6 enters from the hole to suspend the lower duct.
