PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shredding machine or pulverizing machine having such rotary blades which are used to finely crush or tear timber, paper, waste stones and other materials in general. SOLUTION: Respective rollers of the shredding machine having plural cooperating shredding rollers (14, 15 and 16) having parallel shafts have plural rotationally driven shafts (141, 151 and 161) and plural rotary blades (142, 152 and 162) arranged apart spaced intervals in an axial direction along these shafts. The knife blades of the adjacent rollers are arranged to alternately offset in the axial direction. The machine further has a cutting cooperative sieving device which cooperates with these knife blades. This cutting cooperative sieving device (20) has plural toothed cutting rods (22; 22a and 22b) mounted laterally with respect to the working direction of the edges of the knife blades.
