PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic adjusting device for a caster wheel camber angle adjusting mechanism capable of maintaining a straight-going property at all times by automatically adjusting the camber angle of a caster wheel according to the inclination of a face of travel. SOLUTION: This device includes a drive means 4 for driving the camber angle adjusting mechanism 3 for the caster wheel 2, an inclination angle sensing means 6 for sensing the inclination angle of a vehicle body 8, a camber angle sensing means 5 for sensing the current camber angle of the caster wheel 2, and a control means 7 for controlling the drive means 4. The control means 7 drives the drive means 4 in accordance with the current camber angle of the caster wheel 2 and the inclination angle of the vehicle body 8 and adjusts the camber angle of the caster wheel 2 so that the angle of the caster wheel 2 with a vertical plane is the same as its angle when it travels on a horizontal plane.
