PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size (volume) of an empty can, etc., after crushing with respect to a device to crush an empty can or a Pet bottle. SOLUTION: A pair of chain type press inducting means 3 arranged in a V shape are constituted so that press plates 18 are mounted outward to respective chain links and are shifted about half pitch for each press introducing means 3. By this arrangement, at the pressing part 28 where both press introducing means 3 are approached at the closest, a connection part of the press plate 18 in one of the press introducing means is made correspondent to the face inside of the press plate of the other press introducing means 3, so that the gap is reduced to be as little as possible.
