PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle such as an existing truck having a large worker cage from becoming too large unnecessarily. SOLUTION: This work vehicle A such as the truck is provided with a base 1 provided liftably on a deck B, a boom mechanism 2 arranged on the base 1, a worker cage 3 suspended by the boom mechanism 2 and allowing a plurality of workers to be mounted on it, a pair of boom bodies 4 capable of being expanded or shrunk in the horizontal direction from the boom mechanism 2, and a regular-size frame body 5 connected with both end sections to the tips of a pair of boom bodies 4 and liftably suspending the work cage 3 via a suspension body. The base ends of a pair of boom bodies 4 are pivotally fitted to the base 1 and arranged into a V-shape in the plan view, they are synchronously expanded or shrunk to move the regular-size frame body 5 in parallel with the base 1, and the worker cage 3 is lifted or lowered from the regular-size frame body 5 by the expansion or shrinkage of the suspension body.
