PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air conditioner which can ventilate the air in a car room without hurting an occupant's amenity. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an inner/outer air switch damper 12, inner/outer air switch damper drive motor 61, blower fan 21, blower fan drive motor 22, heater core 42, air mix damper 43 for adjusting the flow rate of an introduced air passing the heater core 42, air mix damper drive motor 64, gas sensor (detection means) 62 for detecting the dirt of the air in the car room and a controller (control means) 63', in which the detection output of the gas sensor 62 is inputted, for controlling inner/outer air switch damper drive motor 61, blower fan drive motor 22 and air mix damper drive motor 64 based on the detection output.
