HOLDING DEVICE FOR BEVERAGE CONTAINER

PURPOSE: A holding device for beverage container is provided which is located in a dashboard of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A holder(16) is swivel mounted on a slide carriage(14) by a swivel joint(20). The slide carriage(14) moves in and out like a drawer and the holder(16) can swivel 90 degrees relative to the slide carriage(14) into a useful position at the side of same. An automatic control device formed between the slide carriage(14) and the holder(16) fixes the holder relative to the sliding position of the slide carriage. The holder(16) has an opening spring element(18) to move out the slide carriage.
