PURPOSE:To manufacture a plastic waste processing device for plastic waste of simple constitution and easy operation and without the generation of toxic gas during processing and used for packing fresh, perishable food and the like to be disposed mainly in kitchens of average homes to reduce the amount of waste. CONSTITUTION:A plastic waste processing device consists of a waste storing container 3 of variable internal volume for storing plastic waste, a heater for heating the plastic waste (a blower 15 and a heater box 16) and a compression mechanism for reducing the volume of plastic waste generated by varying forcibly the internal volume of the waste storing container and heating, and the heating temperature of plastic waste is set in the range of 104-140 deg.C, heat compressed and reduced in quantity. |
