PURPOSE:To provide a forming mechanism of an apparatus for the preparation of hand-roll style SUSHI, effective for facilitating the delivery of the rolled SUSHI and having improved workability. CONSTITUTION:A definite amount of cooked rice is placed on a laver sheet 10 on a forming part E consisting of openably pivoted plural laver-wrapping plates 2 having nearly a trough form. The rice is formed in nearly a dull conical form with the forming part E while rolling an ingredient 11 in the rice and, at the same time, the rolled rice is wrapped with the laver sheet 10. The forming part E of the forming mechanism for the SUSHI preparation apparatus having the above structure is provided with a middle laver-wrapping plate 2 having a base part 2a pivoted to a lid 9 detachably fixed to a housing 8 and a free end 2b attached to the opening part 9a of the lid in a vertically movable manner. A push-up mechanism K having a push-up rod 28 for the middle laver-wrapping plate 2 is placed under the forming part E. |
