<p>PURPOSE: Provided are tungsten nickel-antimony-rutile mixed-phase pigments having high color strength, which can be used for coloring plastics, coating material, ink for print, and ceramic glaze. CONSTITUTION: The tungsten nickel-antimony-rutile mixed-phase pigments contain 65-90wt% of titanium dioxide, 2-7wt% of nickel(II) oxide, 7-25wt% of antimony(V) oxide, and 0.05-4wt% of tungsten(VI) oxide, wherein the molar ratio of nickel/tungsten is more than 4 and the molar ratio of antimony/tungsten is 4-150. And the tungsten nickel-antimony-rutile mixed-phase pigments are produced by mixing the titanium dioxide, the nickel(II) oxide, the antimony(V) oxide, and the tungsten(VI) oxide and then calcining the mixture at 900-1200deg.C under oxidative atmosphere.</p> |
