PURPOSE: To maintain the average temperature of a refrigerating chamber at a target temperature even when temperature changes. CONSTITUTION: In the winter season having low temperature, before the temperature of a refrigerating chamber does rise to an ON-temperature. an F-cooling mode is finished. As a result, when the average temperature of the refrigerating chamber is lower than a target temperature, OFF-temperature is raised. Then, since an R-cooling mode is finished at an OFF-temperature higher than a previously set temperature, the average temperature of the refrigerating chamber rises to effectively prevent food from being frozen. On the contrary, when temperature is high, even if the temperature of the refrigerating chamber rises to the ON-temperature or higher, the F-cooling mode may not be completed. As a result, the average temperature of the refrigerating chamber may be higher than the target temperature. In this case, the OFF-temperature is lowered. Thus, since the R-cooling mode is finished at the OFF-temperature lower than the previouslyset OFF-temperature, the average temperature of the refrigerating chamber is lowered to preserve freshness of the food.
