PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating curable at a low temperature without satisfying the life of a coating bath. SOLUTION: This method for producing a coated substrate comprises a stage for coating a substrate containing a catalytically effective amount of a noble metal catalyst with a layer of a coating composition containing an alkenyl functional organopolysiloxane and hydride functional organopolysiloxane and a stage for curing the layer. This method provides a coating layer having high reactivity quickly curable at a low temperature and can use a non-catalytic coating bath having an extremely long effective life.
